NDA & NA Interview & Medical Tests

Majority of students who qualify in the written exam of NDA don’t know about the procedure of interview and medical test and this unawareness leads to their failure in it. The duration of the SSB interview  for NDA is of 5 days. The whole interview process is divided into two phases-

NDA & NA : A career with pride

NDA & NA i.e. National Defence Academy & Naval Academy provides a great career opportunity for all those students who are interested in serving the nation through army, air force or navy in India. You get a chance to become an officer in Indian defence services.

Phase-II.The second phase is of the interview and medical tests. The candidates selected in the first phase are called for interview and medical tests by SSB (Service Selection Board). This duration of the 2nd phase is generally of 5 days.

JEE-Main & Advanced

Engineering has emerged as one of the most popular career option among Indian students during the last two decades. If you are also one of such student who is passionate about engineering, you must appear in Joint Entrance Exam conducted by NTA(National Testing Agency) for admission into the most prestigious colleges NITs, GFTIs, IIITs and IITs in India. However, there are some other engineering colleges too, which have earned prestige. But, IIT’s and NIT’s are still leading.

Students from IIT’s have made their recognition worldwide which is a matter of pride for Indian engineers. There were 23 IITs having around 11000 seats for undergraduate courses and 31 NITs, 20 GFTIs and 24 IIITs having more than 25000 seats for undergraduate courses in the country in March 2019.

Exam Pattern: A student has to qualify JEE-Main exam for joining NITs, GFTIs and IIITs whereas he/she has to qualify JEE-Advanced exam as well for admission into IITs.
JEE-Main: Only online exams are held in the months of January and April every year generally for JEE Main. It consists of two papers-Paper-I is for those who are interested in B.E./B.Tech. and Paper-II is for those who are interested in B.Arch./B.Planning.

Paper-I is of 3 hours and it has 30 questions each from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Each question carries 4 marks for the correct answer and -1 mark for the wrong one.
JEE-Advanced: After qualifying for JEE-Main exam, top 224,000 students can go for JEE-Advanced seeking admissions into prestigious IITs. The exam is held in the month of May or June. After this exam students are selected for IITs.
Remark: A student who is appearing in 12th board exam can also appear in JEE.

Additional Eligibility for JEE-Advance-A student, who want to appear in JEE-Advance exam, will have to fulfill following criteria-

I. A student must have 75% marks in 10+2  or equivalent exam or should be in the top 20 percentile of the board he/she is appearing.

Remember : I. For SC/ST and PwD there is a relaxation of 10% in aggregate marks i.e. they require 65% marks in 10+2 or equivalent exam.
II. The selection of top 224000 candidates is made through JEE-Main according to following system of reservation:
